NEP is set to Revolutionize the Education System

Patna: On Wednesday, Poonam Tandon, the vice-chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, stated that the National Education Policy has the potential to revolutionize the education system in India if fully enforced.

Tandon, serving as the chief guest at an eight-day online orientation and sensitization program on the national education program, 2020, hosted by the UGC Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre of Central University of South Bihar, discussed the key components of teacher empowerment, the gross enrollment ratio, and the importance of vocational education as highlighted in the NEP, 2020.

During the inauguration of the program, CUSB VC KN Singh stressed the need to adjust the higher education system to support the government's goal of transforming the country into a 'Viksit Bharat by 2047'.

"Implementing a strong education system is essential for India to progress as desired," he mentioned.

Renowned educationists from various parts of the country, including S A Kori, Nemi Chandra Rathore, Prabhat Ranjan, and Tarun Kumar T, covered various aspects of the NEP.

In the training program, 81 teachers and researchers from universities and colleges across the country.
